Breweries

Brewing has a great tradition in Liberec. In addition to the still functioning historic brewery Konrád, which is located directly within Liberec, there is the nearby brewery of Svijany in the town of Svijanský Újezd as well as several newly established microbreweries, Vendelín, Studánka directly within Liberec and Novosad in the nearby town of Harrachov. All of these breweries can be visited by appointment and it is possible to see all of the technology used in the production of the amber nectar and also to taste it.
